Obsidian - Game Changing Learning

Balancing a heavy workload means leaning hard on solid habits. One habit I’ve invested in over the years and stuck to is taking notes and building a personal knowledge base. I’ve take notes from books, from meetings, from quotes I've heard, and even take aways from projects I've been on. Through this, I have experimented with everything from plain text files to a private wiki, but none of those systems felt quite right.

Recently, this has all been taken over by Obsidian—a powerful, free note-taking app that uses your local filesystem to create a dynamic, connected system. Obsidian isn’t just about taking notes; it’s about transforming them into a second brain. With plugins and markdown support, it allows you to organize and connect ideas like nothing I've ever used before.
